An absolute gem of an album, mixed by Phili based Qool DJ Marv.

Comprised solely of artists and song titles produced from the once great and now defunct, Grand Central Records.

Grand Central Records were responsible for breeding countless UK underground acts, from Rae & Christian, to Mr Scruff, as well as none other than AIM.

Formally based out of the heart of Manchester, and distributed by HK based, Love Da Records, I remember the day I came across this 70minutes of pure awesomeness.

Beautifully curated hip hop, trip hop and lounge, a must to have on the playlist for that late now come down.  Introducing awesome female vocalists such as Niko and Veba, make sure to check out the following tracks

“Lavish” (featuring Veba) (Deadbeats mix) – Mark Rae

“You’re My Favourite Music” / “Sound Off” – Niko

As well as

Nightlife” (featuring Substantial) – Aim

“24/7″ (featuring Wig) (Rob Smith ‘Voltage’ mix) – Funky Fresh Few

It Ain’t Nothing Like” (featuring The Pharcyde) – Rae & Christian

You’re not going to regret it. Listen here and enjoy homies
